My journey in birding began in the rich landscapes of New Zealand, where I discovered a world of wonder and beauty in our avian friends. Together, we can protect our feathered friends and the environments we all call home. Just me and my journey to save our avian friends!

Birding with Anne is a heartfelt project where we come together as a community to learn about and protect the natural environment for our avian friends. Together, we share knowledge and work hand in hand to safeguard our beautiful landscapes. From setting pest traps to advocating for sustainable practices, our collective efforts make a tangible difference for our feathered companions. Together, we foster a spirit of collaboration and nurture a collective appreciation for the natural world and its winged inhabitants. 

As an artist, I channel my love for birds into vibrant mural projects and unique individual artworks, available for purchase under the “artworks” tab. Each piece reflects our shared admiration for our avian friends and our commitment to conservation. Additionally, I’m thrilled to share my book, which combines science and storytelling to teach children about the wonders of nature through Māori myths. I aim to inspire the next generation to appreciate and protect our incredible birdlife and the environments they thrive in.
